"Spaghetti Harvest" Fake British News Story (1957)

This was one of the video segments they showed at the TED Global conference this year.

On April 1, 1957 the British television programme Panorama broadcast a three-minute segment about a bumper spaghetti harvest in southern Switzerland... The segment concluded with the assurance that, For those who love this dish, theres nothing like real, home-grown spaghetti.

The Chuckle Hut

Definitely my favorite 30 Rock episode --  Jack and Liz come down to Stone Mountain, Georgia to scout out comedy talent Rick Wayne & Pumpkin (played by Jeff Dunham).

After seeing Jeff Dunham's performance in this episode, I remembered how I know him.  He's from Dallas, went to my college, and back in the 80' s my Dad hired him to perform at our church banquets with his characters, Peanut and Jose 'The jalapeno on a stick'.

Favorite Quotes from this episode:

"But there are not restaurants called "Fatty Fat Sandwich Ranch' Turn here! Turn Here!"
- Liz Lemon to Jack

"What a suprise, your worldview is food-based."
-
Jack Donague to Liz

"Which is why I will have the Carp Po-Boy with extra Chuckle"
-
Liz Lemon at the Chuckle Hut drive-through

"Tell me about the peach festival"
-
Jack Donague to Clerk
